MAMA EFE WINS AWARD FOR HER IMPACT THROUGH MEDIA.

The host of OBRA show on Nhyira 104.5 FM, ELEANOR EFE AMANOR (MAMA EFE) has won an award for her impact in the media . The program organized by Prince Hampel World Outreach dubbed, Wisdom for Winning Conference was held yesterday, 14th January 2018 at the Golden Tulip Hotel Kumasi.

Ghana Association of Private Schools Lunches a seminar to promote reading culture.

Ghana Association of Private Schools lunches a one week seminar to promote reading culture in schools. The lunch was in collaboration with BIC Pen to also encourage students to take notes. The national president of Ghana Association of Private Schools Eric Appiah says government should collaboration with stakeholders and add one district one E-library to his initiatives to help students to develop the habit of reading. He added, if the government would allow students to use E-gargets in schools with the supervision of teachers it would make learning easier. Mr. Appiah says though it E-gargets has a positive and negative side student will develop the habits of reading rather than staying on social media and wasting time without gaining knowledge. Israel Mamubey is a representative of BIC Ghana he says their collaboration with GNAPS is not only to read but also to take notes of what they read. He says as part of their activation they are give 500 students

Ejisu Accra High way been used as Market Ground.

The traders at the Ejisu market do not have enough space to do their business and end up blocking a part of the Ejisu Accra high way which causes a traffic jam. Market women bitterly complain that the Ejisu Metropolitan Assembly (EJ.M.A) has ignored the current situation, the market was some years ago rehabilitated and yet still the is no space for traders to do their business and end up on the Ejisu Accra Kumasi high way. Market women now sell goods and services on the high way ignoring the dangers that they are exposed to. The market women some times fight over space with the tor-tor drivers to the extent of exchanging insults,drivers can’t even use bus stops. Even the pavements for pedestrian is been use as a trading grounds , market women endanger themselves and pedestrian buy selling on the high way. The intersection leading to Onwe is blocked every Thursday and Sunday for them to exchange goods and services , but yet still these traders end up using
