Construction of a 4 star Hotel and a University College in the region by the Kumasi Catholic Archdiocese












Mayor of Kumasi, Mr. Osei Asibey Antwi has reiterated the need for a big auditorium to house at least more than 3000 capacity structure to enhance tourism and hospitality.
He says the assembly through the government’s industrialization initiative to create the enabling environment for investors.

Mr. Asibey ANtwi said this during the sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of a 4 star hotel and a University College in the region.



The Christian Village Hotel will be located at Santasi whiles the Christ the Teacher University College to be located at Mfensi.
Catholic Arch Bishop of Kumasi, Most Rev Gabriel Anokye says the hotel will showcase Ghana’s culture to increase its tourism potential.
He says it is the church’s agenda to contribute to the social economic development of the country.

Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia, Father Louis Kofi Tuffour, says the school will give equal access to males in their college since the St. Louis College of education was dedicated to girls.
