Ejisu Accra High way been used as Market Ground.

The traders at the Ejisu market do not have enough space to do their business and end up blocking a part of the Ejisu Accra high way which causes a traffic jam.

Market women bitterly complain that the Ejisu Metropolitan Assembly (EJ.M.A) has ignored the current situation, the market was some years ago rehabilitated and yet still the is no space for traders to do their business and end up on the Ejisu Accra Kumasi high way.

Market women now sell goods and services on the high way  ignoring the dangers that they are exposed to.The market women some times fight over space with the tor-tor drivers to the extent of exchanging insults,drivers can’t even use bus stops.

Even the pavements for pedestrian is been use as a trading grounds , market women endanger themselves and pedestrian buy selling on the high way.

The intersection leading to Onwe is blocked every Thursday and Sunday for them to exchange goods and services , but yet still these traders end up using some part of the Ejisu Accra highway to trade .Authorities say the finding ways and means to relocate the market.
