STUDENTS OF ADOBEWORA GO THROUGH HARDSHIP DUE TO FREE SHS POLICIES.

Senior High School is a community day
school yet 90 percent of the schools population are from the out skirt of the
region due to this students are suppose
to pay one hundred and
seventy Ghana Cedis in other to have to square meals a day, which in the morning and afternoon.
90 percent of
students in Adobewora Senior High School are from the outskirts of the Ashanti Region.
Students have to go through muddy, dusty road and in the raining season they
have to swim to cross before accessing the school and even the community.
Patricia Osei is a parent from Takoradi who says she is scared of his son’s situation
and if the stress they have been through before getting to the school.
She has
been told by school Authorities to buy cooking utensils and a gas cylinder for
his to use, they are use one of the classrooms for the boys dormitory and the
girls are in a hostel facility.
The
Adobewora community complains bitterly that every Government that comes start a
project and disappoints them by leaving the project unfinished and worsen their
situation. They are pleading with the government to better their situation.
